The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) aims to strengthen economic and social cohesion in the European Union by correcting the imbalances between the regions. The management of the ERDF is shared between the EU and the Member States, with the individual EU countries allocating funds and managing costs.
The digital agenda supports the implementation of digital solutions and is one of the key areas for ERDF investment by 2020. However, technology investment profits only materialize if there are people with the right skills to build and disseminate these solutions. The ERDF provides some means for actions that contribute to helping different groups of people acquire and develop digital skills.
Together with the experts implementing projects supported by the ERDF in Belgium, France, Latvia and Lithuania, we invite you to explore how National Coalitions and pledgers can benefit from this fund by highlighting the specific eligibility rules for regions and related processes.
